4:10 gear ratio
I'm trying to find different ways to increase the "get up and go" in my truck! I've started with the XDI True Flow Instake, have the mufflex dod14m on order, and now i'm looking into this gear ratio deal. What benefits come with changing to the 4:10 front and rear? Should I even bother changing if I don't plan on lifting? If changing to the 4:10 is a good deal, should I do both front and rear?
HELP please!

That would be a good idea. If you don't then things tend to explode when you put it in 4wd
4.10 gears will let you tow more and give you worse milage.

If you have 3.55s, it would be a good change. If you have 3.92s now, then it is not worth it, it is not a large enough change. Figure on about $1000+ per axle for the swap.
Going from 3.92s to 4.56s, I lost about 8-10% fuel mileage, but the driveablility while towing is well worth it.

Approximately $1000 per axle for ring & pinion, installation kit (seals, bearings, hardware) and labor. New pinion and carrier bearings are necessary, as they don't like to be pressed off and reused (been there, tried that, bad thing).
Since you have a CC 4x4 and spending some good money for the change I think 4.56 gears would be the way to go IMO.
