Default amplifier under the seat

Hello,

I wanted to mount my amp in between my subs in the under the seat box, but I don't think there will be enough room. The seat would probably not sit down right, correct me if I am wrong. I did find that my amp fits perfectly under the driver seat. Has anyone ever done this, or is there reasons you shouldn't? Thanx

Default Why not?

My buddy had his mounted under his passenger seat in his '98. Worked fine. Just watch for any clearance issues when moving the seat. Also, if you have alot of people riding in the back seat watch their feet don't get into the wiring.

Cool, I guess my biggest fear would be someone getting in the back with snow or rain on their shoes, but I could get slush mats to be safe.

ryan im sure you already know this but they make 2" rear seat risers that will raise the height of the entire rear seat by 2" if that will help your clearance.
Let me know if you need a link

plenty of room under the front seats... Who in the world keeps there feet under the front seats anyway? The amp will breath better under there and you wont have to lift the back seat any.

Cool, box came today and there is not enough room to mount the amp in between so that leaves under the seat. Also my subwoofers don't fit, so I have to get different shallow mount subs. If anyone needs two subs let me know.
