Default Sunroof Question

Anyone with the factory installed Sunroof, do you get a loud whistle when open in the vent mode? I had an 05 and used it that way all the time with no whistle noise. There seems to be a very thin soft seal just under the opening when in vent that is causing the issue. Don't remember the old truck having a seal in that location. I think it is more of a splash guard to keep rain from coming in when open. I don't see it on the service manual drawings so was wondering if maybe it was some kind of install protection from the factory that didn't get removed.

Could someone with the suroof please check to see if they also have this seal? If you put the roof in vent, look to the rear.

Thanks

Interesting. Mine's a Quad cab, wouldn't think that would matter though. The seal is very soft and if I hold it down, no noise.

I was playing around with it last night. Just have to find the right combination of windows open to prevent the buffeting and whistle. This truck is very different than the 05 I replaced. Must be due to the new body shape which affects the airflow.
