Default Mufflex problem

Got my Mufflex in Friday and couldn't wait to get it on today. Got the monstorous stock muffler of and only to find out that my mufflex dosen't fit. I have single exhaust and the inlet portion of the mufflex is the same diamiter as the stock pipe. I'll have to wait untill tomarrow to call, but has any one else had this problem? Or am I the only one unlucky enough for this to happen? SOB, I'm pretty upset about this.

This may sound obvious but is there any way you are trying to install it backwards? Did you by chance try it the opposite way around?

They offer kits for both single and duals.

Anything? Is it backwards?

I would think the pipe from the y is the same size.

Yes, I tryed it the opposite way and it did fit. However, the picture plainly shows how it supposed to go in. I did not want to install it backwards because I was afraid they would not take it back used. Also, when I put it in backwards, the muffler rests on the cross member. Obwiously not the way any one would put it in. If it was supposed to go like that they would have put another 6 inches of pipe to clear the cross member. Another convincing factor is that the muffler's weight should be under the hanger. It is in picture, but not if I install it backwards.

1 in 1 out. The D stands for dual and the S stands for single. I probably would have skipped the disassemble part if I saw three ports on it.

Looks like mufflex should have been flanged out, but it wasnt. I use calibers to measure and got the same O.D.s and I.D.s. Thought about taking it to work and welding on a flange, but that's why I paid $265.00, if I wanted to weld it up myself, I would have bout the muffler for $70.00. WTF?
