I broke my tail light the other night (not bad but I have to get a new tail light). I figured I would just by some after-market lights. After looking online I couldn't find any. The 2009 tail lights look the same as the 2008, and I was wondering if I bought some 08's if they would fit my 09 ram?

yeah, right. the dealer cant tell you anything about your truck unless it has a part number...lol. or at least the jokers at my stealership....

 

If you have an 09 1500 the tail lights are different...if you have a 09 2500 the lights are the same as an 08. The box styles changed for the 1500's in 09.

Hmmm.... I wouldn't mind some LED taillights, but I haven't seen any anywhere yet.

 

Thanks for the help, I hate my local dealership, they charge way to much. when i asked the dealership they said they're the same but driving by an 08, they look different. I don't want to go led because the wiring is different, and I heard can be a mess.
