I looked at a couple 09's this weekend. One was in the body shop, the other was parked outside of a bar in town. Both of these only had one of the two muffler/resonators on the tail pipes. Nothing looked chopped out, factory looking welds etc. Anyone know why, or is that the difference between the Laramies and the others with dual exhaust? BTW neither were Laramies. One in the body shop had an 03/09 build date

What are you asking? There is only one resonator per side after the muffler. Is your's different? On the drivers side, there is a 2nd shield closer to the axle to protect the tire. Maybe you are seeing that?

it is my understanding the laramie and the slt's with the bighorn pkg have the duals with the resonators dodge calls it refined power note the sport doesnt have the resonators and dodge lists them with the aggressive note

 

The Sport does have the resonators. I think the muffler is what is different.

That is one of the those Rapid Response things for the Laramie only...to put on quiet muffler....man that would suck. For sure if Laramies are built with quit mufflers now Mufflex better get their stock in order, now the plants are open.
