Default linking the keys to seat memories settings

Hi all.

I was wondering if anyone has been able to link keys to the seat memory settings?

for those with laramies ( or possibly other models) with the power seats I believe that you can program individual keys (ie mine and my spouses) to automatically set seat and the other parameters memorized by the seat mounted memory buttons by inserting the appropriate key in the ignition

I have run thru the procedure depicted in the manual without success.

I was wondering if anyone has succeeded.
If so how??

I think I succeeded (followed the manual), but I'm the only one who drives my truck, so it may be it is not working!?

I tried again last night without success.
It's not a big issue as she does not drive it often its just a question of principals.
If its supposed to do it well it should..
Ill let the dealer deal with it.
Come to think about it, if they were bright the settings would take effect when you use the remote
to unlock the door and not when the key is turned in the ignition.
My wife being well vertically challenged, our seating positions are quite different and I have a tuff time getting in after she used it.

I guess the solution would be to not let her drive it... hahahaha Shhhhh!

I haven't tried it as my wife and I use the same setting( car I drove all thru highschool seat was pretty far foward and wouldn't adjust and just learned to drive like that), however I do have the easy entry activated were the seats go all the way back when you pull the key out, sounds like you don't ,wondering if that needs to be activated in order for seats to adjust, mine stay all the way back till you put the key in

I just checked; mine adjusts seat, mirrors and radio (pedal position too, I think) to desired settings for me. This happens when I unlock with my key fob. It had to be synchronized by me before this would happen though. Found instructions in the manual somewhere.

The "easy exit function" works fine its just that my wife raises the seat quite a bit as well as move the pedals forwards..

I will try again it I cant get it, I will tell the dealer..

Bring the book with you in case it rains while you are fishing. I say that because it always used to rain when I went fishing or camping or anything outside.

I just followed the instructions in the manual and got mine to work fine ... unlock w/ my keyfob --> my settings; unlock w/ her keyfob --> her settings.
