Default Thumbs up to the Mufflex team

received the DOD14M kit on Friday afternoon after ordering last Wednesday evening. My son helped and we did the install in the driveway in about 20 minutes. ( sprayed all fittings with WD40 before we started ). Remove and replace was a breeze, a lot easier removal to just have someone pull the tails after you loosen the 3 clamps. Fit was perfect, tails are aligned perfect.

Nice work on the retrofit guys..

I put the order for my DOD14M in this morning. I just need to swing by the store before it gets here to pick up some more WD40. That's cool you were able to do it in the driveway, I plan on doing the same, although mine will be solo. I also heard that wrapping the tips with shirts also saves some headache since you don't have to worry about banging them on the bumper. Overall I'm giddy like a school girl for it to get here.

I got mine Friday and put it on that night (DOD14M)..It took me about 30-45min..I had to straighten out one of the outlet fittings..Looks like it got bent somehow..But overall this thing was a breeze to put on and I love the way it sounds..Now this thing sounds like a truck...Just can't wait until all that smell works its way out and seems as though the more that I drive it, the louder it gets. Love it that way too!!

The only person I'm worried won't like it is my wife. It's been awhile since we owned a big sounding V8, so I'm worried she'll be less than thrilled about the rumble. As for the neighbors, I hope it does bother them. They're all inconsiderate of anyone else with their music and barking dogs, so if I wake them up coming in at 1AM, then good!

No pictures with mine, but I put the DODS14 on last thurs. I was expecting it to be louder, but I am happy with it. I think my truck should sound like this stock. No reason to be afraid of it being too loud. I will do a review in the FAQs in a little while.
