bls8195, yes, just the filter itself. I traded in the 09 purchased in Nov 08 to get an 09 w/rambox. I took my K&N from the old truck and put it in the new truck at the dealers before I left. I do have the factory paper filter which I put back in after cleaning the K&N so it can dry throughly before I re-oil it. I think as long as you use something that stops dirt from getting into the engine you wouldn't have any warranty problems. Jeff.
