I wish the grille went up with the hood like on the 2nd and 3rd gens. The Mopar deflector on my 02 was far better fit and design than with the 09.

Mine seemed to kinda tighten up the same way, I basically just snugged them and left them alone after that, no problem for 2000 miles now. Heck on my old Ford F-150, its just sticky back tape holding it on underneath there and its hung in there for over 200,000 miles now, so I figure I shouldnt have any problem with the Dodge.

I'm sure if they stripped once in, as long as you didn't keep spinning then, and you can't pull the screw out by just puting your finger nail underthem, then they are gonna hold just as well as being as tight as they could be with the cheap plastic... I wouldn't worry, i think it would be kinda hard for it to come off at 60mph cuz it'd be forced in like a u-bolt around your hood... should be fine...
