Default Tire Warning Light Problem

Suddenly flashed on at 2,000 mi. Then it went off. Then it went on. Now it's off again.

I check my tire pressures and they're all 30-32 psi. The service manager said he thought it might be that the computer's in "learning mode." Huh? Wha?

I'm inclined to have them trouble shoot the problem and replace the pressure module if necessary. But is there even a module? How does the warning system baby work?

The sensors are in the wheel incorporated with the valve stem.

add some air to your tires look on your doorjamb to see the recommended cold psi if the pressure drops 4-5 psi below the recommended pressure the sensors will turn the light on i dont know about your truck but mine says 35psi

I checked mine early in ownership so I knew what it came with from the factory, they were all 36-37. Add a few PSIs

My light kicked on the other day driving back from a hundred mile trip on a nice hot day. Then for no reason it went off ten minutes later. Hasn't been on since. Weord the tires should have been warm enough for that day. Still haven't checked pressure. Haven't driven it much.
