A stock 09 Dodge Ram is putting out 340HP at the rear wheels according to the dyno results at Hypertech:

Sounds about right to me, sure feels like it when I floor it too

That says stock gearing too, so would it be safe to assume its most likely with the 3.55 rear gears? How much would the 3.92 rear end effect these tests?

Oh, and just incase ya'll want to compare that Dyno to the 2009 MT Truck of the year.

I'd be interested in seeing this truck pull the 11K lbs they're braggin about up a hill.

I agree!

Kinda makes me think Ford restricts that engine and Dodge is making the most out of the HEMI?

I love my HEMI

yes 310hp/365 lb ft from a modern 5.4 liter engine is quite low. though my 1990 Chevy truck with the 5.7 "only" had around 200hp and 300 lb ft and that was considered big time then (probably polluted 2x also)...engines have really came along recently.
