I installed my P3 yesterday and placed in the space between the E-Brake pedal and Handle. It is tight but I can use both the Handle and the pedal. It is down fairly low but I can see it and reach it easy enough. My question is does this thing have to be prefectly level? The manual mentions it has to me mounted horizontally and shows two illustrations so that it is to mounted parallel to the center line or direction of travel and then the readout must be parallel to the ground (side-to-side) but never really mentions that it must be level (front-to-back) to the ground. It would see that if it were tilted up it would be easier to access.

Nope, it can be mounted at a pretty good angle. The directions say what the max is - don't remember off the top of my head. I know that I had the Prodigy in my old F150 mounted at almost a 45 degree angle and it worked properly.

Thanks for that info. I will look again as I must have missed that. I might even move it over to the right side of the IP the existng screw that is there. The left side screw would have it blocking the diagnostic port and I don't want that.

That is a cool place for the air controller for your rear bags or airlifts or whatever they are called.
Trailer brake does not look as nice as the factory one but, it will do. It really sucks when they planned it and even made the parts removeable for 09 even so it can be replaced by the bezel for the trailer brake. Why the pocket, just a matter or putting something in or out of the mould to make a pocket or a space to fit a controller. A change in wiring planned so they decide to not put the controller in and have to have 2 or 3 different controllers to have to carry for warranty. Would not have been worth offering the options I suppose.
