Default What do these do?

There are several wiring harnesses in the cab of my ST that arent hooked up to anything. I assume they are for features that I dont have in my truck, I'm curious as to what each one of them is for.

The first is the bright green plug positioned on the drivers side behind the center console. I assume it is for the heated seat switches, or the 4wd switch. Anyone have clarification? I know the orange plug on the other side is for the 115V plug.

Next is under the drivers dash, near the gas, and brake pedals. There are 3 plugs which I dont recognize-

Under the drivers seat is a group of plugs which I assume are for heated seats? -

Theirs also one under the passenger seat but its not hooked up to anything-

Under the center seat between the drivers/passenger seat, I have no idea what this stuff is...could it be a power inverter!-

Anyone happen to know what these do? Also, would anyone know if connections for the overhead console are there as well? It seems Dodge prewires all there trucks pretty close to the same, so maybe there's a chance of one being up there? There looks to be space to add one-

Probably just wishful thinking on my part, heh...

I know where you're going with this, wondering what you can just plug in and have work. The answer is not much. The wires and plugs are usually there, but many of these things require a canbus module that is not there.

One under the passenger seat is for the power inverter module. There's another plug behind the dash for the inverter plug, but without the module, the plug won't work. If modules aren't required, it may require computer updates that a dealer may or may not need. It ain't like the old days where you plug it in and change a fuse or a relay and it works.

some things you can plug in and they will work, but it's buyer beware if you're gonna guinea pig anything.

fiddlesticks!

I guess I'm the test subject then for this stuff. The power inverter is all I need for the 115v switch, than It'll need to be activated by the dealership. I realize it wont be that simple, just plugging something in and having it work. I'm not that lucky of a person lol. It will be interesting seeing what will and will not work, but I'm willing to take that journey. You might call me crazy, or stupid(mostly stupid) but thats fine, I'm enjoying "updating" everything so that's all that matters.

Thanks for the info though, both of you. It will definitely help down the road.

They used to be so easy to add stuff to years ago like in the 80's but then they smartened up and realized how much it was costing them in theft at the plants alone!!!!! Now you have to be an electronics expert just to put an aftermarket radio in. So you guys buying ST's thinking you are gonna get a Laramie or a Sport on the cheap, think again, just the tires and wheels alone are ridiculous unless you find some take offs on ebay and try to find a mygig or a nav on ebay these days, people are trying to sell low speed units and claiming they work with all vehicles. The 09 Ram requires the high speed canbus. It sucks when they add things to the vehicle and make it standard later into the model year, and we have to pay to have it put on.
