Default A/C blower

I have noticed that quite often, while running the a/c, The blower seems to stall, or pause. I can feel and hear the air stop coming from the vents, like the blower loses power, and stops. Its just for a second, maybe two. and then its back to normal. I dont have the climate control, or anything like that. Just the regular a/c system. Has anyone else noticed this? Is this normal?

Yes, mine does the same thing. But I think it is one of the air blend doors opening/closing, maybe the fresh/recirc door? Also, I notice at times the temp will suddenly get warmer then back to cooler. Kind of like the warm/cool blend door is cycling when it shouldn't be.

I have also noticed this, I will bring it up next time I'm into the dealer. Wasn't there some talk a few months ago about a recall on the standard climate controls? Wonder what happened with that?

Mines also does the "warmer, then back cooler" thing. It might be by design, Ill ask my dealer as well. Thanks for the info.

The recall was supposed to be sent out in June but I have yet to receive anything on it. When I enter my VIN on Dodge's website it says no incomplete recalls.

I had a problem as soon as I drove my '09 of the lot. It had 10 miles on it and the A/C was inoperable. Ending up being replacing the whole climate control module. Has been operating fine since. Dealership reported it was a "computer" issue and that the mod was not communicating with the rest of the truck. Just offering my two cents....

Default AC Problems

My 09 has had 2 AC problems from day 1.
#1 The AC blower will just shut down, for a second at most, and then start up again.
#2 The recirc door will open, draw in warm air and then close.
Both of these happen in no consistent pattern and not at the same time.
Any help from the forum appreciated, because I'm not getting help from the dealer, been twice, no help. They said the "computer" says there is nothing wrong, doing what it's suppose to do... BS!

I just got back from driving a 2000 mile trip and noticed the blower will change speeds on its own. This is not consistent either. It cools just fine. It acts like it is doing it automatically on purpose. It only happens when I first turn it on. Possibly a function I have no idea about. You got me curious as I had no issue until this post. I now wonder if there is a problem?
