Hi all, my 2cents, I was a F150 owner until a week ago, I was impressed by the ride and application the Dodge people put into this truck, let me say I had a Borla catback dual tips in the late ford and it sound very mellow and very nice to the ear, even at high revs it was mellow but with the punch I needed, I didnt like the sound of flowmaster and dynomax, too loud for my taste, I am going to wait for the release of a complete catback set up for the truck, before I ordered the complete set I bought X2 muffler from Borla but like I said before it was too loud, if any of you like it loud the X2 muffler is for you.

h20man - did you end up installing a 40353 or a 40359 Pro XS muffler? I called Borla today and they gave me the two part numbers (offset/offset and offset/center, respectively). Meanwhile, how's the grunt? drone tolerable?

Ok, IDk if I like it soooo much but the system looks nice and probably has a better flow than my FM. That is why I am getting a Magnaflow.

you went with the quiet borla.... The XR-1 setup sounds sweet too, cutout loud, no drone...
