Debadged the truck
I would bet most of your time was spent either soaking or removing what was left of the adhesive. My truck ws sitting in the shade and no heat or chemical was applied to the badges.
1. Got fishing line (I took it from my son's spiderman pole
) worked it just behind the badges. (5-7 min). Leaves almost ALL of the 3M on the truck.
2. Used an eraser wheel in a Dewalt cordless drill to remove adhesive starting from the top and working my way down. (8-10 min)
3. Brushed off the mess with a microfiber towel and used a little denatured alcohol to get out the eraser wheel residue/marks. (2-3 mins).
ERASER WHEEL is the ONLY way to go.

Back to the elbow grease;
BTW-your truck looks GREAT!!!
I didn't want to drive all around town trying to find an eraser wheel that someone may or may not carry and then spend the extra money on it anyways... Just found a half used can of 3M Adhesive Remover laying around and went to town. My fingers were a little sore afterwords from picking off the tape, but they were fine the next morning and I saved myself some extra money by just putting in a little more effort.
Besides, what would the eraser wheel really have done for me? Cost me an extra 20 bucks and got my a** back on the couch watching tv a little quicker? No thanks.
