yeah they are vinyl. now that i think about it that was a cheezy move by Dodge
That is a cheesy move shared by all the car companies....saves on time for one. It seems they put it on to make the flow between the windows better to look at I mean. It is for looks on certain colours, Like black would be a waste, even darker blue doesn't need it imho.
Has anyone done this with a red truck? Mine is Inferno Red, looks good with it, but was thinking of taking them off. Would love to see pics of it done on a red truck if anyone has them. Thanks in advance.
I think that look way better than before...are they a vinal type sticker? Mine obviously were painted black.
Look on your window sticker it is an option delete the blackout tape on Black vehicles, they are all painted just vehicles that are dark don't get it and the lighter ones do because most people tint the front windows to match the sides and then the black out looks good. Now if you get painted door handles and get rid of the chrome you would be stylin' but go order some new black out tape and put it back.
LOL I like it better without, I keep trying to get my kid to take it off hit white Avenger I think it makes the vehicle look cheap with it.
Had two replaced on mine for peeling on the edge, considered removing like the one featured, mine is the same color, but it has grown on me, and I like the fact that it protects the area from scratches, and can easily be repaired.
