I had the lower lid of my console open and noticed that there is a notch on the front right edge so you can run your phone charger cord from the outlet from inside the storage compartment.....but there is no power outlet in the lower compartment, it's in the upper compartment, but there's no notch to run the cord out.

Who's in charge of double checking things like this?

Maybe it is there to run a cord into the compartment and therefore keeping your cell phone, laptop or whatever 110 device you want to power out of sight....

Exactly my thoughts too. There is a plug in the console just forward as well as the 110 on the dash. The notch allows for access to either.

There are more storage areas, plugs, ligthers and crap to actually lose things, it is happening to us already when we can find something ....go look in the truck!! LOL

I got thinking about this and well it is Engineers that design these things, well paid, some over paid. I worked on a launch team at Pillette for 2 years and well we worked side by side with Management and Engineers. We gave our input in the beginning to some of the changes that they were going to make and well because they never worked the line just watched it work they really don't get the feeling for what you really can accomplish. Needless to say we gave them several I told you so's.
