not to hijack the thread... but i also just got some paint damage..

doin 70 down the freeway I'm guessing something got kicked up.. but now there is a foot long scratch on my driver door and also. the bottom of the truck...

if i were to claim this on my nsurance... would my premiums go up?

i don't mind paying the $500 deductible.. to get it all nice.. plus they can fix a prior dent on the bed.... maybe i could throw in a lil extra and see if they will just do a two tone... i dunno... my insurance is high enough... don't want it to go more..

 

Did you buy the interior or exterior protection package?

Good news, at least for me that is

Went by a body shop and had them look at it. The adjuster was not sure if it could be taken out but the "buff man" just happened to not be busy so he took it into the garage to give it a test. Although I never gave authority, he did a wet sand on a portion of the stain and it came out. He took me back a showed me that it came out so I told him to do the right side of the hood. Stain removed in about thirty minutes, all for the cost of $30. I feel extremely luck!

Back on the road with a mirror like finsh.
