I've been changing things so fast on my truck that I hated to take photos because I knew they would be obsolete before I posted them! Not finished but here's what it looks like today

 

quick question for ya. since we have the same truck. did your color matched grille "match" pretty close? mine is off a little bit, due to a different color batch ect. BUT im the only one that ever notices it.....

 

I love that color on the Ram! If i had the choice of the Silver or Bronze that would be it!

 

I'm off by about one shade too...lighter than the truck. I am ordering another because they shipped mine with NO PADDING of any kind and the cardboard box scuffed it. They tried to buff it out but I still see it so they will warranty the first one. If the second is off color I'll have my body man paint it.

My step bars are off a shade to the darker side because the powdercoat is not a true matched color but they look fine down on the side and slightly separated from the body.

I'll have the tails smoked next week but I had to take some pics...

 

WERE those nerf bars chrome before you had them powder coated?

 

Yes they were. He sandblasted them and then coated them.

 

Looks sweet, very clean looking. I like the grille. I think that's the first body color one I've seen with the Lone Star/Big Horn bullet inserts.

Have you looked into the LED rears at all? I saw some over on eBay, but haven't seen a single forum member with them, which is a little troubling.

 

Thanks...I like that particular insert best. I have a black honeycomb brand new if you know anyone wanting to black-out the grille.

I am not confident that the led tails on Ebay actually fit the 09 trucks. I'll hold off till I find what I want that is a sure fit.

 

where did u get ur color matched grill did u order it or have some one paint it for u

 

Got it from Dodge. Ordered a TRX grille and removed/replaced the black insert. The color is not an exact match and it was damaged (scuffed) in shipping so we are trying to get another one. I'll have it painted if the new one doesn't match better.
