how hard would it be to cut out the factory black bumper plastic.. and somehow mod in the same chrome inserts in the grille?

I have a sawzall and dremel and a garage full of stuff... the thing im missing is talent... and extra chrome inserts...

anyone have any ideas on this mod?

 

Takeout what is there and use it as a template? Get some stainless steel mesh that matches what you have and get your saw on it.

 

Now that would look good to match the chrome if you are into all that chrome I say good mod. 2 thumbs up.

 

I've seen aftermarket inserts for the grill that also include that bottom insert.

i been begging to get rid of my tow hooks.. some guy almost 2 months ago was gonna send me his solid black piece and i was gonna send him back my cut out piece and the hooks... never came though...

 

Well, I'm sure it isn't hard to to detach the black piece. I'll take a look a little later. I know there is that black shroud underneath that blocks you from just going up in there. Easy mechanical work though.
