Default AC single climate control to dual is it possiable

Is it possiable to change the basic climate contol to dual so driver and passanger can have there own control, the joy of mariage lol. Would have got this upgrade but wasnt thinking at the time.2009 crew 2wd big horn

It might be possible, but you would have to ask your Dodge dealer if it can to be sure. I would ask three important questions.
1) Can the controls be switch without requiring new wiring, or requirements.
2) Does the vent system has to be change to accapt the controls.
3) The cost to do it.

I would sway towards no then yes...If yes then its going to be costly. At least in the 2011 there are thermistors that pick up temperatures around the truck. One right on the console, couple near the windows to throw the defrost on, sensors for the floor heat. This is just the electrical portion.

I'm not 100% sure on the HVAC, but your either going to have to install dampers to send different air temps to different vents. OR they have just done it with two separate systems, that I don't know for sure. But im pretty sure its not as easy as swapping out climate control units.
