Ok, it all makes sense now. If you are using a 55 watt setup, it has the same draw as the original halogen lights so there is no change in the current consumption, so the vehicle's electrical system won't notice the different lighting system.
But, because the lights are so much brighter (and glaring) to oncoming traffic, you will raise the chance of getting pulled over by The Man for a non-stock lighting system.
As for K71000, to avoid scratches on the top of your bumper, place blue masking tape on top of it to protect it.

Most are. But, you can get 50w set-up, generally more expensive but twice as bright as the 35w and they don't last as long. But the upside is if you're blind like me, you will appreciate the sheer volume of bright light given you don't go over 6000K.

Mine are analogue, maybe that;s why id don't work.
