Hey guys just pulled out my factory alpine subwoofer/box. Does anyone know if or where the factory amp is located? Thanks!

I am pretty sure there are 2 amps with the system. The sub amp should be with the sub speaker. And the main speaker amp is under the dash on the driver's side.

I am clueless to why people pay for the most expensive stereo system then rip it out? 2 grand for a radio alone, then to upgrade speakers with new amps and sub...a grand, So you remove 3000 worth of equipment that you paid for and spend probably more and get close to the same sound. I was totallly impressed with the sound of the Alpine system, it rocks and I missed out on the 800 dollar upgrade for the speakers. Mine had the cheapo radio now I have the MYGig REN and am going to upgrade t the kicker amp and speakers. I got my 1000 dollar radio for 250, the uconnect from the dealer cost more

Factory amp is located above the e-brake. Dont bothering trying to remove it cuz its a PITA. best bet is to splice into the wires and put in your own amp

what did you do with your factory alpine stuff? I'm slowly piecing options onto my truck that I didn't buy when I got the truck.
