i would say some spring compressors and some of those "go-thru" sockets. the sockets really helped with the sway bar endlinks so you can take the nut off and hold the rod with a wrench so it doesnt spin. i think those were the only "special" tools we used. if i think of anything else i will post it.

I wouldn't worry with a spring compressor, just use a jack under the lower control arm and release the tension slowly.

Tools you'll need:
jack
jack stands
assorted metric and standard sockets
ball joint separator
grinder with cut off wheel
drill with bits (because the track bar drop won't bolt up)
thread loc for assembly

Dont suppose......

kidding, just kidding. I am sure Rich (lancelanz) and I can be talked into it. We tend to help out members of our local truck club. (hint hint)

Yours would be the third one I have had my hands on. I have offered to a couple of others, but they have not got the kits yet.

Give me a month and I will have the perfect place to do it. My extra detached garage should be done by then. Otherwise, it is being done in the driveway like Rich and mine were.

Doubles it!

Seriously though, I don't see why it would cause a gain or loss. My only issue is the rear sits on the bump stops with my large enclosed trailer. I plan to either replace the springs with bags or add helper bags.

I am game for it depending on when since I work weekends. On the plus side the weather will be a lot better lol. When we did mine it was the middle of august and 100 degrees until right before we finished up the front and the sky fell in lol

The sky was definitely falling. We finished just in time. I haven't seen it rain that hard in a while.
