great!

be sure to get some before and after picks for everyone...

did you decide on a temp yet?

i went 12k because i wanted that exotic look lol..

here in los angeles and around everything is lit too much anyway.. you could drive with your headlights off from west LA to the valley and not even need your headlights on...

I want a blue look so 10000k is what I decided. I read that anything higher than that starts to get violet. Are the 12000k blue or is it kinda violet?

i took my bulbs out after installing just to make sure they were 12k... and yeah it says 12k on the bulb.. but im pretty sure its 10k...

has kind of an icy look.. they do the job i guess

I have ordered the 6000k bulbs for the low and highbeams since most of my driving is in the country so i need a good set of lights so i can see the deer coming.

Is adding 10k or 12k HIDS legal? Every now and then the local bylaw officers do a sweep and bust people with non factory window tint, tinted headlights and tails, etc.
Thats why I'm leary on tinting my tails but I'd be willing to risk the HIDS.
Sorry, a bit off topic but it headed in the HIDS area anyway.

I've never heard of them being lillegal but I suppose they could be since they are blueish. Alot of places don't like any blue lights on vehicles but I couldn't see any problems with getting caught with hids unless the cop is strict

It's illegal to tamper with "any" safety equip ie:lights, horn, seat belts etc. So they could bust you I would think.
