Default 10000k HID pics

I don't have cancellers yet but they work good when the engine is off. They match the mirror lights perfect and yes the truck needs a bug cleaning.

Nice!

I want to try retrofitting some HID projectors in my fog lights. If I can do that, I am going to try the headlights too. Someday...

Was there quite a bit of modding to do the headlight assembly to make these work??

One thing about it was very frustrating. The headlight housing has only one waterproof plug where both the high and lowbeam wires run through, 4 wires total through the one plug. The kit comes with a waterproof plug on the two wires to each light, they're not combined like the stock lights.
I tried to cut two extra holes through one of the plugs but messed the plug up so I said hell with all the waterproof plugs

I ran all four hid wires through the one hole and squirted a big blob of silicon caulk all around the wires to plug the hole and let it sit overnight. It looks terribly crued but its holding the wires well and its definately water tight. If it doesn't last long then I rig something up better but it will have to do for now

Other than that its all plug and play with the ballast stuff. The place forgot to send me the capacitor to make it work with the engine on so its in the mail now.

When someone gets killed cuz they run off the road driving a smaller car like my kids do and you people who need to have lights any brighter are the cause pray that it is not anyone in my family. Why do you need your lights so bright are you blind the factory lights are already annoying to others obviously with the height and all, everyone flicks their high beams at me, I don't even respond to show them I don't have mine on because i dont' want to cause retina damage to them. Have any of you guys putting super bright headlights in, been in a small car and drive towards one of these on a dark road with no freshly painted lines and maybe ad some rain for fun?, If you need more light flip on your fog lights that is what they are for if its that bad out.

Hopefully these won't be as bad as some of the hid's I meet on the road that blind me but these trucks need better lights. I never use the fog lights, all they do for me is brighten up the road a few feet in front of me. By the time I see something in the fog lights its already ran over. Deer are taking over in my area and I must have better lights.

Maybe you need to have your headlights adjusted.

Exactly. Blinding oncoming drivers has nothing to do with the brightness of your headlights, only how they're aimed. If you're blinding oncoming drivers, they're aimed too high, simple as that.
