I don't think they make a 2wd TRX. I've never heard of such and animal.

Disregard, I see they do make them in 2wd. Sure seems odd to put that package on a 2wd though.

I put a proComp 2.5" level on my 09 Laramie 4wd. Not sure if this works for yours or not. Cost $200, install $250, alignment $60.

I will mention if you choose this kit, make sure you get a recent one. The first one they put on the truck was put together under the assumption that the suspension in the 08 and 09 where exactly the same. They could be similiar but one of the arms in the 09 comes up slightly higher. If you use the wrong piece, you get some squeeking.

Hey bipock. Did you install it yourself?

Negative. Don't have the tools, space or knowledge. I had it in at the dealership for something and had them do it. Took it back 2 times before they realized the problem. They actually weren't any higher than some of the truck specialty stores in the area

I found out this weekend that a good 2wd leveling kit is 10 bags of cement mix and 6 rolls of sod. - about 900lbs

Seriously, why would you want to level an unloaded pickup? Like the tail dragging look when you actually use it as a truck?

Default DayStar 1.5 inch Leveling Kit for 09 2wd RAM

Old Jeep has a point, if you use your truck as a truck often, you may not want to level it. I don't haul much accept from home depot to my house on the weekends.

I went ahead and added the 1.5 inch Day Star leveling kit to my 09 Crew cab yesterday and it looks great. I like that the wheel clearance is even on the front and the back now. Its a preference, I like it though.

$40 for the kit, $100 to install it and now I have to go get a wheel alignment but well worth the money.

Make sure to report back on what it does to the ride. Sticking 1.5" pucks on a jeep makes it ride pretty stiff. Sticking them only in the front is likely to make the ride feel pretty unbalanced.

The ride has not changed at all.

Here are some before and after pics https://dodgeforum.com/forum/members...eling-kit.html

The photos don't do it justice. To me it hardly looks any different in the pics. In person it made a big difference and the truck is completely level. Feels about an inch higher when getting into the truck. It does feel like your siting up a little higher.
