I've got Toyo Open Country MT 35x12.50s, and I would choose a different tire if I were doing it again. These tires are a load range E tire and are too stiff riding. They also have a case of the wanders, and tend to follow every truck rut in the road.

Of the two tires you listed in the opening post I would go with the BFGs.

thanks for the reply. haven't heard that about the Toyo's before.. BFG's seem to be a really popular tire.
