strated painting my grille tonight...
well... i still need to add another coat, wet sand and then clear coat... but i wanted to put in on for a second to get a quick look....

I have painted a number of things on my 03 mach 1, I always used a plastic primer. the one was called bull dog. I will try and figure out where that can went. but never had a problem with paint when i used that primer.
yeah... it didnt turn out as well as i wanted.. so when i drop the truck off this week ima have the professional redoe my lame attempt lol..

Well at least you tried man, but I could see the dry spots in the pictures of it painted in your garage.
Your truck is going to be unique, for sure. We have to contend with winter here so all that chrome and stuff is not wanted, just something to show rust even the plastic chrome it gets killed by salt, summer looks nice then by next spring all yellow spots where the chrome wears off.
