o.k. then i would not bother with them, if you had the 17"w/off road tires like me i would tell you to look for some to put on but street tires are made to be smooth on the road so unless you put mud tires on don't worry about it.

Sort of like two hockey pucks bolted to a frame piece, just under the front door panel, near the front. The material they are made of is not metal.
On mine, it looks like this: ())|(()
Sorry no time to snap a pic and upload.

The parts you guys are talking about are dampers for when the truck goes into 4 cyl mode. They dampen out the frame keeping the vibration from going into the cab. All 5.7L get them except Sports and standard cab models.

I just picked up an 09 Sport Crew and I don't have them but I did notice the other SLTs did have them. Of course the salesman didn't know what I was talking about when I pointed them out.

Why wouldn't the Sport models have them?

Interesting. I thought the same things when I saw all trucks but mine (Sport) had them, but I could not figure out why would they do such a thing.
I am going in to the service dept. today to pick up my Ram and will ask the service techs.

Is this it? Sorry for the crappy quality, camera phone. No idea what they are, probably would have never noticed them either.
