Default Introducing myself/have an issue

I live in New Orleans and after having 3 BMW's decided to get a truck. In July I purchased a 2009 Crew Cab Big horn 2WD. I love the truck. Today I encountered my first problem. When I hit a bump in the road there is a loud rattle coming from the dash. It almost seem like something in the dash has come lose and is banging around. I took everything out of the glove compartment and the console just to be sure and the noise is still there. It is going to drive me nuts. Does anyone else have a similar problem? Or know what it may be? Any help would be great. Also how can i upload pictures ? I tried a couple of time with no success.

Where in the dash is your rattle coming from (left, right, center)? And does it sound metalic, plastic, soft?

From what I can tell it somewhere in the center maybe a little right. Its a hard plastic sound. A similar noise would be the cup holder bouncing. Thats actually what I thought it was when I first heard it.

Take it in to the dealer and ask for them go for a ride along. This way they can hear the rattle. That is what warranty is for.

I'm almost ashamed to admit this but I had a similar noise I eventually traced to the passenger side visor popped loose by the mirror. Drove me crazy till I found it! Thanks to the dear wife for not putting it back where it belongs.

If you have the bench seats and the drop down cup holder it could very be them. Ihad this same problem when I got mine. You have to push down on the cupholder hard so that it locks in place. If not, it'll rattle like heck and drive you nuts. Hope this helps.
