Old Jeep, you seem to know it all, so what do you recommend? A larger sway bar up front? I don't expect race car performance but just to control the swaying a bit.

Larger sway bar if you could find one. Poly bushings on the sway bar also usually help. Problem is that there isn't likely to be much aftermarket support for stuff like that yet.

Some of the additional sway you are noticing is also coming from the softer rear suspension.

Personally I havn't noticed that much sway from my truck.

If you want less sway put some lower profile tires on and get rid of those wallowy and quick-wearing Goodyears that came on the truck.

Forman asked me where I was, told him I got sent to look for sky hooks. LOL Sorry .

Seriously I have been looking into them for my son's Avenger, the tires on the front have rounded completely as to having to be replaced, took to dealer in spec, alignment shop and paid 80 to hear the same, I know my son is driving a bit hard but even the rear tires are worn, the Bridgestone Turanza I thought was a good tire, well I put a set of the newly designed Goodyear GT, he said the car never drove better. So I am wondering if this bar would help in the tire wear dept? Or would it cause the tires to have to do more work? I know the dealer sells one for the Avenger and the Charger but not for the trucks. I was looking for an aftermarket one for the Avenger I don't see paying almost 300 for the dealer one is worth it.
I forgot to mention the tires have just about 10000miles of 16000 km. If you look up the tires on Tirerack they rate unacceptable for winter, and yet Chrysler sells a car in Canada in the winter with those tires on. I am not done with that yet. Customer Service will hear after Thanksgiving.

Well not a fan of Good year but for the price these tire seem to rate well, perform well so far and well they only have a 50000 mile warranty rating but who has ever gotten a tire company to pay out for warranty unless they have road hazard?
