Default Finally decide to get a real lift....

I wasn't too happy with the final results on my 2.5-inch leveling system that I put on my 09 Laramie 4x4 as it really didn't give me the stance I wanted. I then thought I wanted a 4-inch lift but so far only Superlift makes one and it's pretty pricey, so I decided to step right up to a 6-inch lift from Pro Comp. As it turned out, it's even cheaper than the 4-inch system. Also getting new 35-inch Toyo MTs (I can fit 37s but are too much tire for my needs) to replace my 34-inch BFG ATs that I just bought (selling back to Discount Tire so not having too much of a loss on that decision to change out), and installing AMP Research Power Sidesteps as well.

The truck will be done by Friday so hopefully will have some pics this weekend.

Make sure to post pics up when it's done, the new body style looks really mean with a 6" lift

Just curious what effect a levelling kit or a lift has on warranty? I was thinking of a kit for my 09 quad cab 4x4 as well.

Usually nothing at all unless your dealer feels somehow the leveling system, or lift, adversely effected the factory performance of your vehicle and you need something fixed. My dealer was fine with all my mods so far and the fact I didn't need any warranty work yet except for some flash updates. Will be interesting to see the reaction when I drive into the service bay with the 6-inch lift installed. I am probably rolling the dice some on that.

are you going with the stage l or stage ll 6" pro comp kit?
I have looked and found the stage l for $1795, the stage ll for $2777 and the superlift 6" for $2621..
are you getting it for a better price than either of these? if so, where are you ordering from?
thanks

I am getting the Stage 1 system for $1700 from Accessories Unlimited here in town where I buy a lot from, so you are still getting a good price. They are also installing it for me at another $500. I believe they quoted me around $2660 for the Stage 2 system.

P.S. Thanks for serving over there in Iraq and be safe!
