does anyone else feel a click or noise in the brake pedal?

ahhh. the gearshift lockout. Sounds right to me. I guess it's always been like that, but I just never pumped the brakes in park. I was messing with the Hill Start Assist thing when I first noticed it.

Interesting..........

I have this same problem exactly as described.

I took it to the dealer for warranty work (some other stuff) and told him about the clicking.

Diagnosis: Power brake booster

They ordered a replacement -- not in stock. I will let you know if that solves the problem after the repair is complete.

wait... which click? The one from the pedal itself, or the one from up high under the dashboard? Seems to be lots of clicking going on. At least none of it is anything to worry about.

I had this issue too and just had my brake booster replaced

OK!

Got the brake booster replaced under warranty today.

No more brake clicking/squeeking. Good deal.
