just to save myself a few dollars.. I wanted to know if when you plug the accessory blue tooth mic into the RER does it automatically activate? Or do I have to have it starscanned.. I have to pull the dash back off to install my ALL GIG after the dealer is done putting the RER in. Figured I would save my self a few bucks...

Try it a see if it works first you never know. I would guess you are gonna get sucked in for a hundred bucks but here they are allowed .5 hours to program uconnect. So check into what the dealer is allowed to charge.

 

I kinda need a def answer cause its going in Tuesday.. I dont want to have to go back to the dealer again.. I would just tell them to hold off installing it.. they were going to charge me an additional 70.00 to install it...including any programming needed.. maybe I should just forget it and stop being cheap..
