Throttle Vibration
I know this was discussed in an older thread, but has anyone ever found a fix for that very annoying throttle vibration at around 30 to 45 mph. Mine has been back to the dealer 4 times for it with no fix. I even drove the Service manager's 1st truck... it did not have it. Well low and behold he got a different truck now and he has joined the vibration club...still no reason for it.. I personall think it has to do with those 20" Goodyear Wrangler HP's. Are these crappy tires or what?

Well this might sound stupid, but I went to the chrome clad 20's from my aluminum silver painted 20's, and got the vibration,(I NEVER HAD THE BUZZ BEFORE), I think it is the chrome clad edges buzzing, there is a bulletin for other vehicles on the same thing and the cure was putting silicone on the edges so the cladding wont buzz, just a thought, mine still does it, but they look better

For a supposed street tire , these Goodyears sure do sound like mud/off-road tires going doen the street. They are noisiest ( most vibration) when driving on chip rock paved surfaces... On Asphalt roads they seem to be fairly quiet with less vibration to the throttle..That is why I am thinking all of this is tire related.. Still you pay big bucks for a new truck and you would expect it to not have this type of vibrations in the foot throttle or the steering wheel for that matter. The service manager wants to rebalance the tires, but I'm not sure this will make any difference..
if it was the plastic edges buzzing you would have white plastic dust coming out from under the cladding from the chafing.. I highly doubt you'd feel that through the floor and steering wheel as well.

No ..........no dust........ the cars that were doing it showed no signs of trouble, I will find the TSB, I think it was on a GM with chrome clad wheels, mine really never did this untill the swap, now it is bad, put the others back on and it stopped, but like I said these clads are better looking, just have to decide what is more important to me, also the silver wheels feel better while driving to me, the clads feel lighter and more loose feel, for some reason, I feel road bumps more with the clads
