No - Since the current in a series circuit is the same for every component the built in resistors for 6V LED's would not allow sufficient total current for both. However, you could use 2 of any type regular LED's in series as long as you sum their individual voltage drops for the formula I gave. One series resistor will work for any number of LED's in series, providing of course the sum of the individual drops does not exceed the 12V available.

Here is the place to get the LED's for this mod. Any color and cheap.
I used the superbright 3mm.

would it be easier to just buy the resistors and led together already or would that be to big and interferer with anything?

These trucks have an awesome looking rear end,not so much with the man step.Slip it on when you need it.
