New 2009 Ram TRX [HEMI]: Transmission Noise
Hey All,
I've owned Dodge vehicles my whole driving life and finally stepped-up to a new 2009 RAM TRX [HEMI]. I bought it on Monday of this week.
The owner's manual states that "wide open throttle acceleration [with legal limits]" is 'good' for the engine after the 300 mile break-in period.
Every time I floor it on the highway I can hear a very high pitched squeal. It sure sounds like the transmission to me! I can't get it back to the dealer until next Monday.
Any thoughts?
