Hooking up the bed lights I just got and would rather hook them up to the cargo light insead of the dome light. Anyone know what wire in the harness is the cargo light? Just makes sense to me to hook them up this way since they are cargo lights!!! Thanks!!!

No, the Mopar instructions hook it up to the dome light!!! Both yellow wires in the connector mentioned in the instructions are for the dome lights. Might just run them that way, we will see when I get into it tomorrow!!!

Done!!! 2 1' LED strips on each side from Auto Zone $22 a pair, $8 worth of wires, connectors and heat shrink and 2 hours of my time, wired to the dome lights, works great. Will post pics when I get the bed matt and tail gate cover installed. Really happy with the look and amount of light provided.

How did you wire them to the dome lights? Did you use the MOPAR kit instructions?

Sure did, soldered and heat shrinked all the connections, lots of wire ties to the main wiring harness on the frame rail, real happy with it.
