Anyone install lights in the bed?
When the tonneau cover is closed it is real tough to find anything in the box at night. Even when open all the way (Bakflip) it still isnt bright enough for me. I thought about installing some lights on the sides of the bed or possibly some battery operated ones but wonder if they would like the cold.

mopar as an under rail LED light
see how its little white strip.. and it goes under the rail for protection... prolly the most lighting your gonna get under there.. and its real mopar
leds dont mind the cold.. im sure you can wire these into a switch by your dash. Thats a lot better idea then batterys that could run out at the wrong time, or over and over again

Hi Guys;

We have a Lowrider Elite Tonneau cover with a Mopar bed rug. Blacker then the inside of a cow at night!!! Have just, as of Sunday, installed the Mopar bed lights.
They are awesome!!!
There are four strips with 18 LED's in a strip. The only thing we were upset about, at first, is they DO NOT wire into your cargo light. ( the instructions do not tell you what the wire you are connecting to at the harness is for, and as it turned out, it was for the dome lights) At first, thot this was a scew up in the instructions??? The instructions are basic pics only and takes some thinkin', but all in all the install was pretty simple and toke about 2 hours. After using them for a few days , we do not mind that they are wired to the dome lights as they work when you push the unlock botton on the remote. If we did not have the remote we would have used the cargo light wire.
The other thing was, the insrtuctions say to go down thru the stake holder at the front left of the box, but with the box cap on it is near impossible to do that. so, we went thru the hole in the box right in front of the front left tie down in the box. Since everything is covered under the bed rug it worked out very nice.
Was a little dicey at the a-piller and the side dash cover to get at the connector, but if you take your time you won't scratch anything.
