Default Antenna Mount

I was washing the truck the other day and noticed that the antenna mount is oxidizing or lightening up. I tried to use some dressing, but that just attracted dirt. I taped off around the mount and used a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser (those work great on the boat interior), but that didn't touch it.

What are you guys using to keep it black?

Mines doing the same thing, i dont think the warranty is going to cover the antenna mount getting too much sun

Why didn't they just eliminate the antenna mounted to the fender and install it in the cowling near windshield, eliminating the stupid looking mount. Or maybe go to the windshield and eliminate the aerial antenna altogether. If they say it costs too much, then eliminate that stupid ram on the windshield header.

I second. Use 303 aerospace protectant on all plastics, rubber, seals. actually beads water for weeks. It's water based, no petro distillates. Keeps clear plastics clear. It leaves behind UV protection without the greasy mess!
