Default Want to swap my Mygig

I have the Mygig stereo with the back-up camera and 30gb HD Uconnect and all that, but i really would like the navigation one....do you think the dealership will take mine in almost like a trade thing and get me a navi? with some extra money thrown in there i'm sure!

Probabally better off looking for a new one on ebay and selling yours. The dealer isn't going to be able to do anything with a used radio.

My truck has the REN, and the wife has the RER (ie as per yours) in her Aspen.

I can honestly say that the price difference of about $1500 (I think) just isn't worth it to me. I have it, so I'm not going to complain, but I would rather have had $1500 in my pocket and spent no more than 1/3 of that on a good aftermarket GPS system, and still had $1000 in the bank.

The RER is a great radio, the REN only adds nav to that (if you have Uconnect), and is pricey.

Oh - and I got a DVD from NAVTEQ the other day. They wanted $200 to "activate" the map update on the DVD. As the truck is only 6 months old, I was not impressed.
