Default H.I.D acting up

So i bought the H11 kit off the site here for 60 bucks.....what an easy and great set of lights!! 1 problem.....when i turn on the headlights sometimes only 1 headlight fires up, so i turn it off...turn it on and the other one will fire up, turn it off then neither will fire up....after turning the headlights on and off about 15-20 times i may get both to light up and work fine.....but then i go somewhere and turn off the truck, just to have the same problem happen again.....any ideas why they dont fire up at the same time everytime....bad ballasts?

Mine did the same thing!

but i got a ticket for having "blue" headlights so instead of fixing it i just took em out until the inspection was over... then i was goonna put them back in... let me knwo what you find out

one side didnt light up... so i just smacked the headlamp because i was pissed and it came on.. next time i started the truck the other one was out... no amount of smackin fixed it though lol

It has to do with the computer I believe it needs to see 55watts at each headlight

look on the side of the ticket where it says "code and section" and there are yes and no boxes. If yes is checked, then its a fix it ticket. more on this can be found on the back of the ticket by letter (c.)

but anyway.. yeah mine is a fix it ticket.. got me in some silverstars now... they light the road pretty good.. but have a ugly warm light thats on the road... so ill be switching back soon

Guys, add a relay and that will solve all your problems and avoid any future problems with your trucks electrical system. On most dodge vehicles, if not all, a relay is needed or suggested.

Sounds like your computer doesnt like how you have them connected. It's not an issue of quality as both Doc's and bohrman are having the issue with 2 seperate brands of lights. As to a fix action.....I dont know
