Default Tire Rotation

Owners manual calls for tire rotation every oil change, is this really necessary considering that oil is changed every 5000 kms? Can I get away with rotation every other oil change?

I've always rotated mine at 10,000. It's worked for me.

I never rotate my tires on any vehicle, and usually replace them 2 at a time. (2wd pickup)

One thing I like about leaving them in place is that you can easily see any issues with the suspension/steering that you should be correcting.

i've always owned 4wd vehicles and I rotate my tires every other oil change. I think that doing it every time is a bit excessive. I'd also recommend getting them rebalanced at each rotation to avoid any wobbles.

These tires really arent the best. I get a coupon once a month for tire rotations for $9.99. Well worth it to make these tires last as long as possible.

Someone probably said this already but the book in Canada says 10000km's between oil changes.

I will dump these tires within 2 years, I just don't even like the look of them. I will be going with some Falkens.....luv them.
