After hearing everyone saying that the trucks are prewired for cruise and seeing someone report that they'd actually installed just a cruise switch and it worked, I decided to try it myself. When I finally got the airbag module off of the steering wheel, I found out that I don't have any lose wiring or connectors for the switch.

There are three empty slots for wires on the connector that the horn switch wires feed into, and three pins on the cruise switch connector, so I'm thinking that may be the path of the missing harness. Can anyone verify this or if the guy that installed one is still around, can you tell me how you went about it?

Also, there were no screws in the switch package. If someone has installed this, can you tell me what screws you used?

Thanks,
John

I plan on doing this install as well. I'm surprised by the comments of the instructions not including a set for the RAM, even though I haven't purchased the kit yet, I found this on the net. This thread seems pretty old now but I thought maybe these instructions would help anybody who has been looking for them or who is on the fence about purchasing. Hopefully my install will go as smoothly as the previous posters.

P.S. For everyone else who has the ST model InBred has an awesome set of instructions posted here for keyless entry. I just installed it to my truck and his instructions made everything so much easier.
