Can you explain why this other truck that a member ordered (mine as well) took much longer than 24 hours? Granted, mine sat on the line during the bankruptsy but mine took 2 days for framing and paint prior to shut down, not to mention trim and inspection after.

No answers to my questions? I am very interested at how to organize a tour. Everyone I talked to at Chrysler they said no tours at any plants, this was as of Spring 09. Everything I see here are words, need some help for organizing these tours you mention are available.
Searches through the forum will show days to get the truck through prodction. We all (well OK us **** people who wanted specific stuff) went through this in 09 waiting on our new 4th gens. Maybe it is suppose to be 24 hours but history has shown otherwise here. Until I see real world trucks ordered and tracking I will stick with the prior experience of time to get a truck into shipping.

Formally request individual or small group tours by contacting WTAP Manager's Office. Indicate you're a RAM/Viper/SRT-10 owner/enthusiast & Dodge Forum Administrator. Seems a tour is the only thing that will change your misguided perception.
My Mineral Gray R/T was one of six initial builds slated for the show circuit, luckily only five were needed (one of each color).
I swipe my card for the last time tomorrow, finally & officially retired.

What did you do there? My father in law retired last year(he was at WT and the tech center), and my brother in law is still there, both millwrights.
I took the buyout in May(Mack II), had to fly 850 miles to find a R/T. Looks like you didn't have to go quite so far.
CaliAthlete, I think you should be fine to get your laramie by the time you get home (or atleast within a few days)
Check with your rep today or later this week, and I'll bet you should have a VIN#. I'll keep you updated once I go in to sign all of the ppwk tomorrow or wed with an updated ETA.

Congradulations RamR/T with your retirement. I worked at Twinsburg Stamping in Twinsburg, Ohio. Put in 34 1/2 years. Retired in Aug of 07. Doing nothing right now but enjoying life. Hope you get the same.
I bought a 09 Hemi Sport 4X4 in March of 09 and just love this thing to death.
Well, here is a 2010 Ram R/T window sticker. Made in Mexico, not WT.
