You can fill with almost not noticing it has been done.

SOmeone already said it, get a touchup tube from the dealer
Dab some paint in, wait a day
Dab some more in, wait a day
Keep doing this until the "hole" in the chip is at or above the paint level
Now get some 800-1000 grit sand paper, bucket of water with a drop of dish or car soap in it.
Get sand paper wet, then sand the spot smooth. Keep it on the small area of the chip, works best if you can glue the paper to an eraser on the end of a pencil.
Follow with rubbing compond
Then polishing compound
Then polish/wax

Long process but will only cost 10-25, depending on what you already have in the garage. The lights on this TA has several chips... If you look hard you can pick three of them out in the pic.

Depending on how big the chip is, you might try this. Get a bottle of touch up paint from the dealer and apply a fair amount right on the chip. Wait a minute or two for the touch up paint to get tacky (almost dry). Wipe the area with a clean microfiber towel. This will remove any access paint. Next, apply a coat of good wax to the area.

I stumbled on this method through trial and error and it has worked well on many of my vehicles, over the years (including black ones and my brand new Inferno Red Ram). For the price of the touch up paint, it might be worth a try before you spend bigger bucks at a repair shop.

The Inflatable Garage
A bubble for your baby

Too paranoid to leave your ride out in the open air? The Car Capsule is a clear, vinyl, flame-retardant and anti-static bubble that inflates around your whip, sealing it off from the elements of everyday life. We can’t see how it would offer much protection against anything much stronger than chubby rain or bird crap - but it’ll at least keep touchy-feely types off your fresh wax-job. The eight-foot version is available for $269 and the 22-foot mega-sized version sells for $419.Source: Jalopnik.com

Went by the dealership and asked the body guys when I was getting my oil changed.

$800 to repaint the door and remove the minor dent and chip.
$100-150 to remove only the dent
$11 for touch up paint

The guys suggested not to sand the paint because there is only a very thin layer on the trucks because the factory only sprays enough to cover the vehicle. I'm trying out the touch up paint and see how it goes.

I wonder if a private paint shop would be cheaper, well....probably a lot cheaper but how much is the question.

That is why you use 800-1000 wet grit on the end of a pencil eraser. As you fill in the "hole" with paint it will also built on top of the edges of the chip (existing paint). Using that small piece of sand paper you are riding on the touch up paint, then you stop once it is flat, which means you just start to touch the factory finish. It can be done if you put the time into it.

And $800 to paint a door is to much. $400 max.
