Default Wheels

I have the 09 ram qc 1500 4x4. Someone locally is selling a set of Mickey Thompson MTZ on dodge 20 inch rims off an 06 1500 4x4. Tires are 325/50-20 which would be 33 inch. He said they were on a stock ram. Was there anything different on the 06 that would allow them to fit? He says they didn't rub at all. I want to know if I can fit them on my 09 without rubbing. Anyone here try 325/50-20 on stock 20,s? Thanks

See if you can try the front ones on first. You will love the MTZ's, GREAT tires! I can't wait till I can afford a set for my truck.

The 3rd gen had bigger wheel well openings then the 09. They reduced the wheel well size so the tires would fill them up better and it would lower drag and improve MPG

Well I never got to try the 325/50-20MT. I think they were sold but looking at the space between the tire and the upper arm I really don,t think they would have fit. I am wondering if a 33/12.5-17 would fit? The stock 20,s are 33" tires. I am trying to put the biggest and widest tire on the truck without a lift or level. My truck has the 17" alloys so I will be buying rims as well.
